<p>The invention concerns an arrangement comprising a so-called radiation cutter with a central body from which clusters of ionizing radiation emerge and intersect one another at a point, each individual cluster being harmless with respect to human substance but displaying at the focus a cumulative effect which can destroy this substance, the central body (1) with its focus (2), whilst treatment is in progress, being continuously and/or intermittently mechanically and/or manually movable in at least one direction which is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the patient (6), which is brought about by means of a guide and/or one or a plurality of rotatable and eccentric mountings (1, 7, 8) of the central body (1) relative to a fixed point, for example a radiation shield (3).</p> |
