The splash guard hoods are electrically conducting, self supporting, resistant to solvent, and made of soot reinforced fluorcaoutchouc or of filler-reinforced rubber. The hoods contain a reinforcing, vulcanised metallic tissue, and have a smooth, anti-adhesive and non-abrasive surface.
