发明名称 DEVICE FOR HEATING ROAD VEHICLES AND METHOD OF ITS OPERATION
摘要 FIELD: motor transport; heating vehicles in winter. SUBSTANCE: collector gas lines are laid on ground or are suspended from posts and are connected to gas heater interacting with pneumatic heater. Gas taps are connected to gas distributing manifold. Gas intake branch pipes furnished with gates are mounted on gas taps, mainly in wells. Gas main lines in underground version do not hamper running in any direction over fleet ground. In surface design version gas taps are arranged along walls at right angle to the walls. In suspended design version, device is made so that manifold attachment posts are arranged between vehicle rows, and hoses are lowered from manifold to floor. L-shaped tips are connected to hoses for rotation. End of tip is raised upwards in direction of engine crankcase, and each tip is furnished with wheeled support and turnable lever. When not in use, movable tips, whose length is not less than width of vehicle, are arranged along manifold not be damper passing. When vehicle is placed for heating, tip is turned around hose axis by rotating the handle and its end is placed under engine crankcase. Then hot gas is fed under vehicle body by opening the gate. Lower portion of body is enclosed in gastight apron over perimeter of body. Apron lowers to ground (wheel support). Hot gas delivered by centrifugal fan is uniformly distributed under bottom of body, heating the chassis, driving axle and gearbox, gets into passenger compartment (if passenger bus in being heated), warms controls and instruments and dries all cavities. Pipes are connected tangentially to circumference and they can be connected to form closed ring hot air feed system. For sake of economy, working medium used in system is mixture of exhaust gases and atmospheric air involved in burning process. Mixture is delivered for heating the vehicles, thus materially increasing efficiency of heating device. For convenience in use L-shaped tip is made for turning through 360 degrees relative to hose axis. Length of tip is equal to width of vehicle. Thanks to it, when moving the tip in direction of body, its end lifted to body bottom will arranged under apron, thus providing required direction of delivery of gas. EFFECT: increased efficiency of device and convenience in use.
