FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: ring/traveller system has ring and traveller engageable with ring. In this case, the ring surface, at least, in zone of interaction with traveller has coating from polycrystalline ceramics. In so doing, the surface structure of ceramic coating is made with rounded boundaries of grains forming the space for reception of self-forming lubricating layer from fibers. Traveller is made of flexible carrying material and has metal and/or ceramic surface whose hardness equals or exceeds the hardness of ring ceramic surface. The other object of the invention is the method of treatment of ring surface in the ring/traveller system for spinning and twisting frames including procedures of application of ceramic coating and finishing treatment. In this case, finishing is effected by providing the structure surface with grain rounded boundaries. EFFECT: higher efficiency. |
