an input signal selecting switch(5) switching a first broadcasting signal input, a second external signal input and a third signal input selectively; a video signal processing circuit(9) processing the signal transmitted from switch(5); a monitor means connected to the output of the video signal processing circuit(9); an OSD circuit(7) which provides a specific character signal, being connected between the switch(5) and the video signal processing circuit(9); a mode selection switch(12) having a display mode selecting position and a check mode selecting position; and a control means(20) providing a control signal for controlling to drive the OSD circuit(7) and controlling the input signal selecting switch(5) to receive the third signal input.
