Twin circuit hydraulic anti-rolling control system

The twin circuit hydraulic control system suppresses rolling in a car using an adjustable stabiliser on the front axle and rear axles. It comprises a pump which supplies one double-acting actuator (11,13) per stabiliser with pressurised fluid through at least one solenoid valve (25). Each actuator has at least two working chambers. If the solenoid valve fails and adopts the middle position in the housing, the chambers of at least the actuator for the rear axle are unblocked so that if the car rolls, the fluid is pumped from out of these chambers. The chambers of the front actuator are blocked and joined to the equivalent rear ones.
