Encapsulation mechanism for magnetic recording cassette

The cassette encapsulation mechanism involves the use of a cassette (33) having a recess (33b) formed on one surface in order to differentiate between each of the cassette sides and edges. The cassette casing comprises a main part (B) which contains the cassette, and a lid (C), which has a rotating motion relative to the main section. The lid has at least one projecting part (40), which is fitted to its inside surface. This meets up with the recessed part of the cassette, if it is inserted into the casing in the correct way and allows the casing to be closed.
