The support has node points consisting of a basic shell (1) with recesses (15,16) to receive longitudinal straps (5) and cross bars (6). The node point also has a sleeve-like cover shell (2) enclosing the straps and cross bars together with the base shell. The straps and cross bars lie in the recesses and are glued flat with the surface of the recesses. The shell parts (1,2) have flanges (4) at their contact points to facilitate gluing together.
