Automatically adjustable propeller mechanism for aircraft
摘要
The propeller mechanism has individual blades which have a degree of freedom about the axis of the aerodynamic tilting moment movement. The blades are so held by elastic and damped ties against stops to give the large pitch, such that on exceeding a definite rotational speed, the aerodynamic tilting moment forces the blades against the stops to give the small pitch. The blades automatically fold parallel to the axis of rotation on coming to a halt.
