FIELD: well drilling. SUBSTANCE: well drilling, drilling mud is used for removal of rock cuttings and corresponding formation fluid freed by drill bit and for transportation of them to the surface. At the surface, a part of slime and fluids is extracted from drilling mud for analysis. Obtained data are used in evaluation of formation. This method shows how to calculate the concentration of definite formation fluids in drilling mud by addition and maintaining the regulated concentration of desired foreign substance in the drilling mud used as fluid medium for comparison and determination of the quantity of returned formation fluids with the help of comparison fluid medium. Method also shows that technology is used as means for provision of control of quality of measuring system and as nondestructive means for measurement of delay. EFFECT: higher efficiency. |
