Method of massage for patient in bath tub

The method of massage involves using a conventional bath tub (1) filled with warm water in which are a number of buoyant wooden massage bodies and a number of non buoyant ones. When the massage bodies are placed in the water they form a layer on the surface (2) and a layer on the floor of the bath (3) and some of the bodies float in between them. The patient is massaged by lying or sitting in the bath tub. The massage bodies have different specific weights with some of them having specific weights that correspond to that of the warm water. The massage bodies are short cylinders with rounded edges and have a longitudinal bore of about 5mm. The total mass used is about 15kg for a normal bath which equates to 7800 pieces. The top layer contains about half this number, a quarter float free in the water and the rest form the bottom layer.
