The reinforcement connection (1) comprises a cover (6) which is formed from a cut-out section or a length of a fibrous flat material. The material for the cover is a dense fibre fabric. The material can also be a non-woven material, or consist partly of a dense fibre fabric and partly of a non-woven material. The cover material can also be a multi-layer material.
