A cavity body for the electrical installation of, for example, lamps in concrete ceilings, projects into the concrete and has a front (14) and a rear part(15). The front part is closed off by a base(21). This base holds screws(39) used for a mounting plate (40) which itself has further fasteners of different types to make a temporary connection. The mounting plate can be detached from the front part. The extra fasteners mentioned include magnets or quantities of heat-setting glue. The mounting plate has raised-up boundary walls for these fasteners. It is a one-piece item. The extra fasteners are in pairs.
