Motor vehicle side=lights arrangement

The additional lights are fitted to the sides of the vehicle behind the front flasher units. The lights are switched on, to operate continuously, when the flashers are activated and also when the headlights are switched on. They are directed forwards at an angle of 40 to 60 deg. to either side. The lateral lights have a width and height of 50 by 100 mm and their beams reach for 4 to 6 metres.
