The electric reflector lamp has a reflector body (1) having a reflecting surface (12) and a neck (13). A light source (3) having a glass lamp vessel (31) with a pinch seal (32) is accommodated inthe reflector body, the pinch seal being located in the neck. A mounting plate (5) is present on the pinch seal (32). The plate (5) is the bottom of a bush (51) which extends along the lamp vessel (31) towards the reflecting surface (12) and which has a transversely extending rim (52) which closes the neck (13).
