FIELD: production of building materials, glass works equipment used for production of blanks of quartz glass in particular. SUBSTANCE: metal layer 1, which glass mass is welded on, is insulated from cooled inside hollow disk 3 by layer 2 made of materials with different heat conductions. In the case under the most heat-loaded parts of layer 2 there are sections 8 of insulating layer 2 made of material with maximum thermal conductivity and under less heat-loaded parts - section 6 of insulating layer with lower thermal conductivity.
