FIELD: ultrasonic flaw inspection of materials and parts in various industries to ensure high quality of products. SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic flaw detector has inspected part displacement mechanism connected to control unit, converters connected to generator and amplifier, their outputs being connected to selector coupled through amplitude-digital converter to recorder; novelty is that it has series-connected storage unit for amplitudes of ultrasonic transverse profile of standard and inspected part, and profiles comparison unit inserted between amplitude-digital converter and recorder whose second inputs are connected to control unit. EFFECT: three to five times higher inspection capacity, simplified design of flaw detector, reduced cost of inspections, enlarged functional capabilities. 2 cl, 1 dwg |
