The cut-out or circuit breaker switch is arranged to be attached directly on to collector rails or bus-bars (18) of an electric distributor. It has at least one fastening element (23) arranged on its upper or lower side. These engage under one of the collector bars (18). The arrangement also has at least one fastening element (14,26) arranged on or near the opposite side and/or on the reverse side. This engages on another of the collector bars (18). The arrangement further includes at least one connector contact (14) which is spring mounted on one of the collector bars (18). The fastening element (23) on the upper or lower side is preferably in the form of a rigid hook (23). This preferably projects from the side of the other bars (18) and under the bar (18). The hook (23) may have at least one break-off section (25) allowing it to fit a bar of double thickness.
