The throttle valve connection has a throttle valve (3) pivotably arranged in a housing (1). The edge area of the throttle valve is plastically and/or elastically deformable so as to be installed in the housing. The throttle valve also has one or more plastically and/or elastically deformable, almost radially projecting packing washer(s) (7). The washer(s) is/are on the inner wall of the housing when the throttle valve is in the closed position.
