The water tap (10) comprises at least one water inlet and an outlet contained in a fitting body which has a valve or a sliding device used to control the water flow. The valve or sliding device is operated by a handle (17) which is moved vertically upwards or downwards to control the water flow. The tap also includes a cylindrical pipe element integral to the fitting body. The tap has a cylindrical outer surface (30) which houses the pipe elements and the ceramic mixer device (15) which is located at a greater height than the tap outflow arm (28).
