Organopolysiloxane/cyclodextrin complexes obtainable by the mixing of cyclodextrines and/or cyclodextrin derivatives with organopolysiloxanes from units of formula (I) in which R may be the same or different and represents a hydrogen atom or a possibly substituted hydrocarbon radical which may be interrupted by oxygen atoms, R<1> may be the same or different and represents a hydrogen atom or possibly substituted hydrocarbon radical which may be interrupted by oxygen atoms, a is 0, 1, 2 or 3 and b is 0, 1, 2 or 3, provided that the sum of a and b is 3 or smaller. These complexes have a viscosity of 0.65 to 1,000,000 mm<2>/s at 25 DEG C and possibly solvents selected from the group of polar and unpolar organic solvents, water and their mixtures.
