Hand tool thermal spot-bonding material for elastomeric roofing sheet

The hand tool for spot-bonding or vulcanising elastomeric sheet, e.g. rolled wares used for flat roof covering or tarpaulin comprises: (i) an intermediate seam band included between the sheets; and (ii) two electrically-heated, pref. round profile heads (1) whose dia. is smaller than the width of the seam band applying pressure and heat for a set duration, and pressed together by springs (2) in a self-opening frame (3). The force between the heads (1) is obtained by hand operation of the lever mechanism fixed to the frame, via the handle (4).
