Paving block for car park

The basic paving block has a grooved profile at one end to fit over a similarly-shaped tag at the other end. The blocks are laid with an interlocking pattern for simple alignment and to create a strong surface. The grooved end has flanges notched (4) to allow selected sections to be broken off. This enables the blocks to be laid in curves. The block also has notches in its sides to provide a simple break facility to create part blocks. The blocks can be made of clay, plastics, wood or any other suitable material. Different variations of interlocking profiles can be used.
