The plug or matching part (130) has an end (146) for engaging in the opening (114) of the female element (100) and has at least one holding projection (150), extending outwards radially from the matching part, for an interlocking engagement with the housing opening (114). This opening has a contact surface (120), which is designed for an engagement with a holding surface (154) of the holding projection of the matching part. So that an axial separation of the matching part and the female element is prevented. A pressure sensitive control unit is provided at the connection, which has a fixed and a moving contact, and is designed to prevent the pressure of the pressurised system, such as a vehicle air-conditioning system, rising to too high a value, the compressor is switched off, thus extending the life of the compressor and other components of the system. An electric switch is provided in the pressure-sensitive unit and is connected with a component of the system under pressure.
