DESIGN OF OPTICAL DISK DRIVE

摘要

FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: system for concurrent detection of MO-and ROM-signals reflected from optical disk so the both signals are available and suitable for use without switching from each other. System reduces time for switching and switching transient processes. Two photodetectors are arranged for detection of P and S components of polarized light for action on differential amplifier and generation of output signal presenting MO-data. The second amplifier is connected, at least, to one photodetector for generation of output signal presenting recorded MO-data and presenting also defects in MO-part of optical disk. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
