<p>A method of suspending a bridge girder, in which when main cables (3) supported by a main tower (2) suspend a bridge girder (5) through hanger ropes (4), middle positions of a plurality of horizontal beams (6) provided along a height of the main tower (2) and both sides of the bridge girder (5) are connected to one another by obliquely extending auxiliary cables (7). This method can suppress flutter vibrations detrimental to the bridge girder since a torsional natural frequency of the bridge girder is increased.</p> |
