A S-vulcanisable rubber compsn. contains (a) a terpolymer from a conjugated diene, an aromatic vinyl cpd. and a monoolefinic monomer, (b) opt. a diene elastomer and/or a copolymer of a conjugated diene and an aromatic vinyl cpd., (c) a phenol resin and/or its phenol and aldehyde raw materials, (d) finely divided pptd. SiO2, opt. combined with C black, as reinforcing filler, and (e) opt. other usual additives.
