<p>Treatment of fluidisable or liquid materials, but esp. gypsum whereby a material is reduced to powder, preheated, fluidised and carried into a treatment tower by the press. of steam released from the powder during treatment (esp. heating) in the treatment tower by an injector and release valve at the top of the tower connected to the injector. In the case of gypsum, large crystals of alpha-calcium sulphate hemihydrate are formed.</p> |
