The vehicle transmission (T) consists of an oil pump (50), a clutch (10) to interrupt the drive force. There is a hydraulic transmission (20) having a drive (21) and driven (22) impeller and a gearbox (30) in which the transmission is from the propulsive force (E) to a to a final train (40) is via the clutch (10), the hydraulic transmission (20), and the gearbox (30). The hydraulic transmission (20) contains a fluid chamber (25) to which is applied a pressurised fluid coming from the oil pump (50). It has a mechanical coupling (26) which joins the two parts (21,22) of the hydraulic transmission and on which acts the fluid pressure applied to the fluid chamber (25). This mechanical coupling neutralizes the coupling between the two halves (21,22) of the hydraulic transmission when the fluid pressure is applied to the fluid chamber (25). |
