The unit consists of a tank (14) for receiving and storing the used water, equipment for receiving and treating it, at least one pump (4) for taking water from the tank, apparatus (7,12) for opening and closing a clean water inlet (6), and an element (10) for increasing the contact surfaces between the liquids arriving in the tank and the ambient air. It also has an outlet (8) for noxious gases, a clean water diffuser (15) to optimise rinsing, and an overflow outlet (9). The unit separates the water according to its quality, and produces water which is clean enough to be used for washing down buildings.
