The ramp has a telescopic lip (1) having parallel guides (2) fitting into corresponding parts (3) of the platform (4) like comb teeth. The upper face of these guides are flush with that of the platform. The telescopic lip is constituted by two lateral guide parts (5) which engage in platform lateral guide sections (6). The parallel guide sections (2) rest, with the possibility of sliding, with their lower part on retaining and guiding cross members (7). These parallel guides are connected to the lateral sections and have at their ends rollers (8) extending under the lower face of the lateral guide parts which slide in the platform lateral guide sections. The telescopic lip is coated in sheet metal which extends on the parallel guide sections.
