The book has a cover formed by front and back sheets (4,3) articulated at a spine (5) to enclose a number of pages secured to the spine. The front and back sheets are connectable to each other, in closed position of the book, by a fastening strap (6). The fastening strap consists of a tongue (9) secured to one of the cover sheets, with an extension tab (10) for removable attachment to the other cover sheet by an adhesive layer or a fastener. The front cover sheet includes areas printed or otherwise marked to receive a postal address (7) and a stamp (8).
