LAUNDRY QUANTITY AND DRY DEGREE DETECTING METHOD FOR DRUM WASHING MACHINE

The drum washing machine senses the mass of the laundry to optimize washing courses and to check dryness of the laundry by weighing the mass of the laundry before and after washing and drying. The drum washing machine includes : an electrode sensor(23) for sensing laundry mass; a microprocessor(20) for finding laundry mass and whether drying is completed or not; a buffer(24) for rectifying the signal from the sensor and transmitting it to the microprocessor; a peak holder(25) for holding the peak value of the signal; and a reset unit(26) for resetting the peak holder periodically.
