<p>A method of determining β-glucan according to the flow injection technique using calcofluor with improved precision and reproducibility, characterized by placing a gel filtration column wherein the outer volume of gel particles is smaller than the volume of eluates discharged from the column in a given period of time and the inner volume of the column is at least ten times as large as the volume of an injected sample in between the position at which the sample is injected into the liquid flow of the system and a detector.</p> |
