PURPOSE: To provide a fault diagnostic device which can quickly perform the fault analysis of a system of a large scale and also can effectively recover the fault in a short time. CONSTITUTION: A fault diagnostic device 11 supports the fault analysis of a system 1 of a large scale that uses many common parts. Then the device 11 is provided with a retrieval means 112 which retrieves the common parts 121 and 141 that are used in the system 1, a selection means 112 which selects one of parts 121 and 141 that are retrieved by the means 112, an output means 15 which outputs the information on a position where the parts 121 or 141 selected by the means 112 is loaded, and an analysis means 112 which analyzes the fault of the system 1 after both parts 121 and 141 are exchanged with each other based on the position information on the parts 121 or 141 that is outputted from the means 15. |
