PURPOSE: To provide the audio reproducing device in which the arrival of an incoming call is surely recognized even when a reproduced sound is heard through the use of a headphone. CONSTITUTION: At the arrival of an incoming call, a telephone set sends a transmission signal resulting from FSK-modulating a carrier with, e.g. a prescribed code. A reproducing device 200 receives the transmission signal by an antenna 51 and an FSK demodulator 53 demodulates the signal. A code extraction device 54 extracts a prescribed code from the demodulation signal and gives the code to an output side. A dip switch section 55 is used to set an internal setting code coincident with a prescribed code in advance. When an incoming call is detected, the transmission signal is sent from the telephone set and the code extract device 54 extracts a prescribed code, then an output signal of a comparator 56 goes to a high level H. A microcomputer 37 outputs an audio signal ARD representing the arrival of a call from a tone signal output device 57 and the audio signal ARD is fed to an output path of a reproduced audio signal APB and a headphone (speaker) 47 is used to report the arrival of the incoming call. |
