FIELD: nondestructive inspection; prompt serviceability check of single- and multi-channel flaw detectors under industrial conditions. SUBSTANCE: adjustment specimen is manufactured whose rear side carries receiving-and-radiating transducer and electric channel simulating echo signals from real reflectors; method implemented by means of this device involves setting of acoustic unit of flaw detector on adjustment specimen, radiation of ultrasonic oscillations into specimen, reception of ultrasonic oscillations generated by electric channel of specimen, their amplification, time selection, and supply to flaw detector indicators. Serviceability of flaw detector is recognized by operation of specimen indicator and flaw-detector indicators. EFFECT: improved reliability and capacity of serviceability check. 3 cl, 3 dwg |
