1361883 A distributing device NODETGOUGIS 6 March 1972 [5 March 1971] 10302/ 72 Heading AID A distributing device for granulated or pulverulent material such as grain or manure comprises: a rotatable cylinder 2 on a shaft 1, formed from a number of identical discs 3 each having at least one spigot 6 attached by a narrow flange 5; and fixed T-shaped fingers 8, supported on a rod 7 attached to a hopper, for cleaning the cylindrical surface between the flanges 5, the fingers having tips 8' extending into the gaps 4, between the cylinder and spigots, up to the vicinity of the cylinder surface. The gaps 4 are approximately as wide as the spigots 6 and there is an angular shift between spigots on adjacent discs 3. In a modification, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), the spigots (16) are integral with a shaft (1) and spaced by plain discs (3), and the fingers (18) are L-shaped. |
