<p>A dust-proof push-on switch used for an operation button of electronic appliance, whose performance is stable irrespective of operating conditions. A hard rubber material having a type A durometer hardness of 65 to 70 specified in JIS-K-6253 is used for a driving member (12). The width of a flange portion (12B) for sealing an opening of a case (1) is expanded and a thin ring-like portion (12F) which is easily contractile is disposed at this portion. Further, a thick stopper portion (12G) whose inner periphery comes into touch with the outer peripheral portion of the case (1) is disposed round the outer periphery of the flange portion (12B) in order to prevent deformation of the rubber driving member (12) so that a sufficient switch stroke can be maintained. This stopper also serves to prevent the flange portion (12B) for sealing the case from being pulled into the case.</p> |
