<p>A diverter member (10) for a faucet (12) having a spray function (57) is provided. In one embodiment, the diverter member is sealed to a spray outlet passage (66) in the valve housing to allow for flow of the water through the central axis of the piston head (45), but with no radial flow around the head. A flange is provided in a junction between spray and spout outlets to further reduce clogging problems. A check valve or spring bias (59) can also be provided.</p> |
