<p>The present invention relates to a cooling element for chill/cold transport or storage of foodstuffs and other produce requiring a stabilized ambient temperature, said cooling element comprising an outer skin (1) made of a resilient material, advantageously fabric-reinforced plastic sheet, and a cooling substance (2) inserted in the space enclosed by said skin material. To improve the cooling effect, the cooling substance is foodstuff-grade gel and the cooling element is provided with at least one transverse and/or longitudinal seam (3) for the purpose of contouring the shape of the element.</p> |
