A method for connecting two liner tubes (1, 11) each having an inner layer of a resin absorbent sheet (2, 12) and an outer layer of a hermetic plastic film (3, 13); comprising (a) turning over the outer layer film (3, 13) to expose a length of the sheet layer; (b) unthreading that portion of the thread (4, 14) with which the exposed portion of the sheet layer (2, 12) is stitched; (c) unrolling and partially flattening the unthreaded portion of the sheet (2, 12); (d) cutting the flattened portion of the sheet (2, 12) along a straight oblique line (c, c'); (e) abutting together the thus cut ends of the sheets (2, 12) of the two liner tubes; (f) stitching together the cut ends of the sheets (2, 12); (g) rolling up the opened sheets to make them tubular again; (h) re-stitching the sheets (2, 12) along their long sides; and (i) unrolling the overturned film layer (3, 13) so as to cover up the exposed portions of the sheet (2, 12) again. <IMAGE> |
