The turbine has a roller-shaped rotor in bearings at both ends, which carries rotor blades (2) of arcuated profile between two disc-shaped front plates (1). The turbine is selectively and changeably fitted with different types of blading. The selection includes rotor blading only, or fixed diffuser blades (7) additionally fitted to the rotor periphery, extending over the axial length of the rotor, or adjustable diffuser blades additionally fitted to the rotor periphery, which reduce the through-flow surface at increasing flow velocity.
