A device to store and supply fluids such as in a drinks container, has an outer wall with an opening and with a connecting element in the region of the opening. The outer wall (2) has at least one layer of thermal insulation. The container wall is divided into an inner (19) and an outer wall, creating an intermediate chamber which is filled with the insulating material (21). The insulating material is foam based. At least one of the inner or outer walls is coated with a thermally insulating paint.
