PURPOSE:To obtain a blade having little possibility of wearing a photosensitive body and generating filming and having a superior durability by a method wherein a specific curing agent is mixedly stirred with a pseudo-prepolymer and injected into a preheated mold for obtaining a specific 300% modulus and a specific impact resilience. CONSTITUTION:In the production of an electrophotographic copying machine cleaning blade, a pseudo-prepolymer is prepared by incorporating polyisocyanate and a polycaprolactone ester diol having a molecular weight of 1000-3000; a curing agent consisting of a high-molecular polyol having a molecular weight of 1000-3000 and a low-molecular polyol having a molecular weight of 60-250 is mixedly stirred with said pseudo-prepolymer containing 8-20% isocyanate group in a hydroxyl/isocyanate equivalent ratio of 0.8-0.9; and the curing agent is injected into a preheated mold. In this manner, a 300% modulus of 130-250kg/cm<2> and an impact resilience of 45% or more at 20 deg.C are provided. |
