<p>The support includes a bearing with inner and outer races (44,43) and ball bearings (45). A magnetic coding unit (47) is attached to the inner turning race (44). The bearing holder (42) is drilled (31) to receive a speed sensor (30). A semi-cylindrical casing is used to locate the speed sensor (30) within the drilling (31). The casing has a tab (18) which allows it to be bolted (48) to the bearing holder and cut out tongues (17) assist with it's positioning in the drilling (31). Further tongues (16,16') on the casing engage with a groove (33) on the sensor to relate it to the coding unit (47).</p> |
