The part of the base (10) inserted into the bone cavity is fitted with a spreader (11) whose supporting parts (11a) can be splayed out in dowel fashion at right angles to the base so as to bear against the wall of the cavity. The profiled (12) part of the supporting elements has pressure surfaces (12b) in the loading direction as compared with free faces (12a) in the opposite direction. Elements go over as legs into the base shaft (15) which is itself drilled out (16) lengthways only to taper conically at the supporting elements. The hole takes a conically ended pin (20) whose male thread (23) screws into the base thread (17), using a pin head slot (25) for screwdriver etc. fits. The base is screwed into the jaw cavity and is fitted with an extension as denture support etc. Thus the frustoconical exterior of the extension is bonded into a hole in the denture.
