The apparatus allows to connect a modem capable of transmitting and receiving data between a data terminal connected to the analog circuit and other data terminal connected to the digital circuit. The apparatus includes a signal conversion circuit, a DCE/DTE conversion block, a timing control section, a power conversion circuit, a network connection block, a data interfacing block, a CPU, a memory unit, a tone generating unit, a keypad block, a LCD block, and speakers.
