<p>The pressure switch valve (10) comprises a valve housing (16) which contains a magnetic core (15) inside a magnetic coil (13). A channel (17) for the hydraulic medium, formed in the magnetic core, interacts with a magnetic armature (20). The magnetic armature has a section (22) which projects into the magnetic coil up to the position of greatest flux density. The section interacts with the valve seat (18) of the channel. The section is enclosed by a circular flanged edge (21) which runs outside the magnetic coil.</p>
