Electrical terminal block for uniplanar power distribution

The electrical distribution terminal block has a moulded body that has features on the underside for mounting onto a rail. One side of the housing has recesses that receive pairs of metal spring wire clamps (3,4). These are accessed through slots (14,15) that allow a tool to be inserted to deflect the clamps such that the ends of wires can be inserted (8,9) and can be secured. A similar arrangement (7) is provided at the other end with access (12) for the insertion of the main power cable.
